Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than April 30th!

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive around 1:30pm, please plan for summer mountain traffic. Games will be set up so feel free to play. The ceremony will start promptly at 3pm followed by snacks and more games. Lunch will not be provided so please eat before!

Question

How do we get to long scraggy? Should we carpool?

Answer

The address is 20203 Spring Creek Trail, Buffalo Creek, CO 80425. You can also type in Long Scraggy Mountain Ranch and it should come up. It is about an hour outside of Denver and the route has some curvy mountain roads. Please plan for some weekend mountain traffic and allow for extra time to get up there. We encourage carpooling as much as possible!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony has a semi-formal dress code so please arrive in your nice clothes (Mid-length/knee length dresses; any color except white! Slacks and a dress shirt; no jacket necessary). Long Scraggy is all dirt so please wear shoes that won't sink into the ground (sandals, wide based heels). After that we will be playing games for a few hours so bring clothes you can move in! Finally, it will get chilly after dark so bring warm clothes to hang out in!

Question

I am staying overnight, what should I bring?

Answer

The cabins are very minimal and only have a mattress. Please bring any bedding you would like such as a pillow, sleeping bag, and even a sleeping pad if you have one. Some cabins will have to use the detached bathhouse so bring shoes you can easily slip on to walk to the bathroom! You will also want a towel if you want to shower! Pack for any normal overnight stay i.e. toiletries, change of clothes, etc.

Question

Can I bring games to play?

Answer

Please do! We will have pickleball, disc golf, cornhole, beach volleyball, and many others but please bring anything you think would be fun! We will have pickleball paddles but feel free to bring your own if you want to!

Question

Should I eat before the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Please try to eat lunch, we'll have snacks/appetizers after the ceremony but won't be eating dinner until about 5:30pm.

Question

Seating

Answer

After the ceremony, there will be picnic tables where dinner will be held. While you are welcome to sit and relax at these tables at any time, if you want a comfier chair with a back we recommend bringing your favorite camping/lawn chair! If you have extras and want to share, feel free to bring them. Just make sure they have your name on them and that they go home with you!

Question

Will there be breakfast on Sunday if I stay the night?

Answer

Yes! We will meet in the roundhouse to share breakfast before we say goodbye!

Question

Will there be cellphone service?

Answer

Service is very spotty so don't count on having any while there.

For all the days along the way
