Groomsman
David Bick—the iconic other half of the Bick Brothers. We were so thrilled when he moved back to the East Coast this year. He and Nathan are incredibly close, and having him nearby again has been such a joy. We’ve love sharing steak dinners, walks around Dupont Circle, and long conversations at Teaism—our favorite tea spot.

Nicole’s brother Josh is always her go-to “call” on evening walks. A true highlight of Nicole’s grad school experience in Boston was living nearby, where Nathan, Josh, and Josh’s girlfriend Maddy shared weekly family dinners together. No one is more excited about this wedding than Josh himself—“Your wedding will be the greatest day of my life,” as he puts it!

You might recognize Kathryn from our annual holiday cards—a tradition we started together. Nicole and her were longtime college and post-college roommates. Kat has been part of Nicole’s life for years, through college shenanigans, mourning the loss of Nicole’s beta fish Obama, and many years of adventuring around DC. She’s also been an early supporter of Nathan, even letting him move in with her during the COVID pandemic.

Sarah and Nicole met on their high school tennis team and quickly became close friends. Their bond has carried them through high school, college, and post-grad life—filled with adventures like relaxing on the beaches of Hawaii, snorkeling in Australia, and hiking in the Rockies. Sarah has supported Nicole through all of life’s milestones—from prom, big moves, and new jobs to bad haircuts and everything in between. More recently, the four of us—Nathan, Nicole, Sarah, and her fiancé Kyle—have loved weekend getaways to Martha’s Vineyard and the Poconos.
