Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Nathaly Izaguirre and Jonathan Correa
Medellin is one Colombia's most popular and beautiful cities! There is plenty to do there, it just depends on what you want to do. Since our wedding is on a Friday, we recommend you plan to enjoy the rest of the weekend with these activities or plan a longer trip to enjoy the pre and post wedding days. We’re suggesting the spots below because we’ve been there ourselves and loved the experience. Whether it’s the food, the views, or the atmosphere—we think you’ll enjoy them as much as we did!
Guatape

Guatape

Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia

Adventure awaits just a couple hours from Medellín! Guatapé is a colorful pueblo surrounded by water and mountains. Hike the 740 steps of El Peñol, then explore Guatapé’s colorful streets and waterfront to go boating or jet skiing! This would be a full day trip and is recommended to do after the wedding - best to accomodate in advance.

Provenza

Provenza

7-33 Carrera 35, Medellín, Antioquia 050021, Colombia

This is one Medellín’s liveliest neighborhood—rooftop fun bars, cafes, lush greenery, and some fun night out. Medellin has a ton of night life and this is a great spot to explore.

Comuna 13

Comuna 13

Carrera 110, Medellín, Antioquia 050028, Colombia

Now a cultural landmark and must-visit for anyone wanting to understand Medellín’s past and present. You can go solo, take a guided tour, ride the outdoor escalators, see the views and learn how this neighborhood became what it is today.

Restaurants

Restaurants

Medellín is a foodie’s paradise! From traditional Colombian dishes like bandeja paisa and arepas, to trendy rooftop spots, gourmet tasting menus, and global cuisine—you’ll find something delicious on every corner. There are too many options but below are some we have gone to! For an authentic colombian dish at an affordable price we recommend: El Rancherito For a more higher-end fancy experience we recommend: Ritwual or Runico

Centro Commercial Santa Fe

Centro Commercial Santa Fe

Located in El Poblado, it's on of the most popular and biggest mall in the city with four-levels of hundreds of stores, a fun children’s play area, a multiplex cinema, and a diverse food court. And depending on the season, they create amazing displays in the main court area!
