Our events are taking place in well-known, central areas within the city. As with any travel destination, we recommend using general awareness. Be aware of your surroundings, and be mindful of personal belongings.

We recommend exchanging currency since some Colombian vendors, including taxis and small restaurants may not accept a credit or debit card but most will. There are many currency exchange locations in Cartagena once you arrive, but we would suggest using Bancolombia's ATMs for the best exchange rate or exchanging at your local bank before traveling.
