Callanwolde is a nonprofit community arts center and event venue located on a beautiful 12-acre historic estate in the heart of Atlanta. The estate was originally the home of Charles Howard Candler, former president of The Coca-Cola Company and eldest son of Asa Griggs Candler, the founder of Coca-Cola. From 1920 to 1959, the Candler family lived on the property. Today, Callanwolde stands as both a cultural landmark and a stunning venue for celebrations.
Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is located at 980 Briarcliff Road NE Atlanta, GA 30306 between the Virginia Highland and Druid Hills neighborhoods, just east of midtown Atlanta. The venue is easily accessible and close to local attractions, restaurants, and hotels.
Yes! Callanwolde offers ample on-site parking. However, please note that cars may not be left overnight. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are encouraged for guests who prefer not to drive.
We are so honored that you’ve chosen to visit Atlanta to celebrate with us, especially if you’re traveling from out of town. Our venue is near a busy intersection, and yes, Atlanta traffic can sometimes be unpredictable. If you have any questions or need travel advice, please reach out to Nathalie and Wesley in advance—we are happy to help! Doors will open at 4:00 PM, and the ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM.
Everything will take place indoors, except for cocktail hour - which we’re planning to host outside only if the weather cooperates!

We’ve reserved hotel blocks at both the Hyatt Centric Midtown and Hotel Clermont. Atlanta also has plenty of great Airbnb options if you prefer something different. For booking details, check out the Travel tab on our website.
