Anthony and Nathalie's story began, back in 2009. They first crossed paths at church, though their connection didn't truly spark until they found themselves at the same high school in 2011. Amidst hallways bustling with teenage life, a friendship began to bloom. That friendship was put to the test in 2014 when Anthony, fresh out of high school, made the brave decision to join the military. Distance could not weaken their bond. While Anthony was away at boot camp, they kept in touch through casual, often humorous letters, proving that even miles apart, their connection remained. Later, when phone calls became possible, their conversations stretched late into the night, bridging the miles between them with laughter and shared stories. These regular exchanges, while lighthearted, solidified their friendship and showed them that no matter what life threw their way, their bond would endure. Years went by, filled with life changes and personal growth, but Anthony and Nathalie's connection remained a constant. Then, in 2021, they decided to see where their remarkable bond might lead—they started dating. Their relationship blossomed despite the distance, with Anthony in South Carolina and Nathalie back home in New Jersey. They treasured their visits, making the most of every moment together. As their love deepened, the pull to be near one another grew stronger. Realizing that a long-distance relationship couldn't compare to a life truly shared, Anthony chose to move back to New Jersey to be closer to Nathalie. And then, in January of 2024, surrounded by the familiarity of home and the love they had built together, Anthony got down on one knee. He asked Nathalie to marry him, and with a heart full of joy, she said "YES!"
