Nathalie: “The Thursday night before I journeyed 2 hours south of Illinois to finish my last year of college, the Lord heavily stirred my heart to attend a young adult church service with my cousin. It was very last minute, but my cousin’s friend, Andriy, was able to pick us up to go to church that day — yet little did I know I was stepping into the ride of a lifetime.”

Andriy: “At that time, I was drifting through life and had left aside all expectations of what’s to come. That night, the Lord blessed me by introducing me to a woman who is so much more than I could ever ask for. He placed us both in each other’s lives on purpose which we would soon see. Although at the time it didn’t make sense on timing, culture, our histories or to anyone else, what mattered is that it made sense to the God we both believed in.”

Nathalie: “As my back was turned taking a picture of the crystal clear water, he tapped my shoulder and I saw him get down on one knee, asking me to marry him. And at a loss for English words, I replied, “¡Si, si, claro que si!”
