We're getting married!

Gabriel & Nathali grew up on the same street, but did not meet until they were both in college. Different colleges. They discovered each other through social media like most do nowadays. They then started an online exchange that led to a date in El Paso while Gabriel was visiting home for the Summer from college at the University of Texas at Austin. Gabriel invited her to get some tacos at a small taco stand named, Tacos Tamaulipas. Determined to appear like he knew the streets confidently, he practiced the route to the taco stand to pretend he didn’t need maps. 

When Gabriel left to pick her up from her house he asked for her address. He was confused when she sent back the name of his own street and pulled up to the house within a couple minutes. 

Nathali was expecting more time before his arrival, and was still occupied with the final touches of getting ready. Gabriel got to her house and rang the doorbell, her dad was the first one to greet Gabriel at the door, thankfully with a smile and not a shotgun. Gabriel struggled with his Spanish speaking to her dad for a few minutes before Nathali was ready and they nervously began their date. 

For the rest of the Summer they spent every available day together until Nathali transferred to Texas State in San Marcos a few months later. Gabriel then asked Nathali to be his girlfriend on March 1st, 2016, and the rest is still unwritten.
