What is “Cha de Panela”?

Answer

Cha de Panela is similar to a bridal shower where the bride gets to meet all of the women guests beforehand. There, the bride will play games with her guests and receive some house warming gifts.

The “Gravata” game is usually played towards the end of the wedding reception. It consists of the groom party going around to other men to collect cash in exchange for a piece of the groom’s tie, but in our case, the exchange will be a wedding-favor!
