If you’re staying at the Hyatt Regency and primarily attending wedding events, a rental car may not be necessary. However, guests who would like to explore Lake Tahoe and surrounding areas may find one helpful.

Question

What weather should we expect?

Answer

Late October and early November in Lake Tahoe are typically cool and crisp, with daytime temperatures in the 50s and evenings dropping into the 20s–30s. We recommend bringing layers and a warm jacket for nighttime. While snow is possible, fall weather and sunny days are also common that time of year. Please note that our ceremony is planned to be outdoors, weather permitting, while the reception will be held indoors.

Question

What should I know about the altitude?

Answer

Lake Tahoe sits over 6,000 feet above sea level. We recommend drinking plenty of water to help you feel your best during the weekend.
