WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!

May 2013. Nathan & Amanda both attend a mutual friend’s wedding. But do not meet. June 2017. Amanda receives a prophetic word from a friend at church about the fairytale Beauty & the Beast; how it is a sort of parallel to her own love story. She’s told she is like Belle, people have seen her as odd and peculiar. But that God wants to take her on an adventure. That she would get her fairytale love story and be treated like royalty because she is a princess. She’s told her Beast/Prince is coming soon. That he is actually probably already around but that neither of them have noticed each other yet. The friend said that once they did notice, his love for her would win her over. The friend said that it was possible his last name was Prince. She mentioned a wealthy family in the Holland, MI area with that last name. July 2017. Nathan and Amanda meet for the first time [through church] despite being in the same communities and circles for a few months (in some cases, years). Amanda develops a crush. Nathan develops a crush. August 2017. Nathan wins Amanda over with his immediate, confident, undeniable, unwavering love for her. He checks every bullet point on her 4 page list of the man of her dreams she started writing in 2012. She checks all the boxes Nathan has written on his heart that describes the woman of his dreams. Nathan tells Amanda on their third date that since he was in middle school he knew the first girl he would date would become his future wife. February 2018. Nathan asks Amanda to be his best friend forever, to take his hand in marriage and be his wife. She said, “yes, of course!” March 2018. Nathan tells part of his adoption story Amanda hasn’t heard before. He explains that his parents didn’t go to Korea to pick him up, rather someone from Holland, MI went as a sort of liaison to pick up a group of babies to bring back to be adopted. He reveals the name of the lady who brought him over, Joan Prince, of the wealthy Prince family in Holland.
