You're Invited!

From the day Nate slid into Dani’s WhatsApp, to the months of their “Mexican standoff,” to the very moment Nate got down on one knee and Dani could barely stand from crying so hard… Nate and Dani’s love story is one their Heavenly Father has been authoring long before they ever met. And it all began with 11 pictures Nate sent to the wrong number. Dani was new to church and had just been added to the run club group chat. Nate took an interest in the new girl and had been checking out her profile picture when she was added. Later that day, while hanging out with his cousins, he sent a bunch of family pictures to his mom…except his chat with Dani was still open. So his first impression with Dani was 11 deleted messages (which Dani obviously took as an excuse for him to talk to her). That same day, Dani had been praying for her future husband, and she felt God tell her to be still, that He would bring him soon. She saw the unprovoked messages as confirmation that God had finally brought her husband! Meanwhile, Nate was stressed about having blown his shot with the cute girl from church. The flirting commenced, as did their budding love story. That is, until someone left the other on read. There are still disagreements over who left the other on read (definitely Nate — Dani). The point is, both of them were drawn to each other from the first misguided text, but somehow kept missing each other for months. Partially because they were unsure of the other’s interest, but mostly because God was leading them to fully surrender their hearts to Him before bringing them back together. They went their separate ways, keeping each other at arm’s length while secretly yearning, and trusting the Good Shepherd’s perfect timing. Once they felt ready, Nate wasted no time asking Dani out. On their first date, they laid it all out and confessed their secret affections. They asked all the hard-hitting questions to see if this could be forever. The more they spoke, and the more their families and community got involved, the clearer it became. They were aligned in their fear of God, their sense of humor, their life values, and their life mission. There was no doubt, this union was God-ordained. Everything since then has been a voyage of falling deeply in love with one another. In many ways, their love story is just getting started, and they cannot wait to continue writing it alongside all of their loved ones.
