FAQ

Question

What is a wedding?

Answer

A "wedding" is believed to be an old wooden bucket used for churning butter

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire. We're pretty casual and it'll be outside, but no blue jeans please :)

Question

Why Idaho Springs?

Answer

It's our way of showing our appreciation for George A. Jackson, the legendary prospector who discovered Idaho Springs on January 5th, 1859

Question

What is the weather typically like around this time of year?

Answer

Last September was on the warmer side - low 80s. However Idaho Springs is higher elevation in the mountains, so we recommend bringing a light jacket, as it may get chilly when the sun goes down. Speaking of Elevation, for folks traveling from out of state, DRINK WATER.

Question

Will there be cake?

Answer

Of course

Question

In all seriousness, will the venue & staff be taking precautions / wearing PPE?

Answer

Absolutely, yes. Our guests' health and safety is top priority! All vendors are taking extra precautions and are on top of all safety regulations. Our Wedding Planner is AMAZING and making sure we take every step possible to have a fun, enjoyable and safe event! The ceremony+reception are both outside, and the venue overall is quite spacious for folks to spread out if need be. Any/all other concerns please don't hesitate to reach out to Nate or Lindsay, we love you all and totally understand these are unprecedented times.
