We're getting married!

Merrie Kris and Nathan's love story first began in Newark jr. high. Just two fourteen year-olds who thought they had an unrequited love. Merrie Kris first caught Nathan's eye in their history class. Both are the shy type and barely communicated to each other through words. instead, Nathan would show his interest with small gestures, like: holding the door open for her to class or tapping her shoulder on one side then appearing on the other. fortunately, Merrie kris thought this was adorable. They confirmed that they had mutual feelings for each other at the end of 8th grade and began dating in their first-year of high school....then the rest is history (pun intended). There’s nothing quite like your first love. It’s an extraordinary thing to meet your soulmate at such a young age. They were blessed with years of carefree fun, plenty of time to get to know one another and each other’s families. They were able to listen to each other’s teenage hopes and dreams, and actually help one another achieve them as adults. Now, after 13 years together, Nathan finally proposed! They can’t wait to tie the knot and start their happily ever after with the presence of their loved ones in May of 2023.
