FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than March 22, 2025 so we can provide a final headcount to our reception venue.

Question

When should we travel?

Answer

We will be traveling Thursday and staying through Sunday. All the main wedding events will take place on Saturday, June 21st, so you are free to plan your trip around then! We encourage you to make a getaway out of it and explore Colorado while you're here.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We will be staying at Lazy R Cottages which is within walking distance from our reception location. Triple R Cottages is a sister vacation-rental and is also nearby. We have also stayed at The Appenzel Inn and recommend it!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:00pm. We recommend getting to the location around 4:45pm to get settled. Please consider driving time and potential stops for entrance fees.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal/Cocktail Attire While there won't be a long hike, there is a small walk to the ceremony spot. There will not be any chairs provided as they are prohibited by the park. Please wear comfortable shoes. The reception will be completely indoors.

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

There is a large parking lot at the ceremony spot in the park. You will have no issues finding a spot for your car. At Bird's Nest, the parking is very limited, so we recommend carpooling or taking the Estes Park shuttle.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to guest limits, we can only allow attendees who have been formally invited by us. You are more than welcome to travel with additional people to explore Colorado, however they can not attend the wedding events.

Question

What is Timed Entry?

Answer

We highly recommend spending some time hiking around RMNP! The park recently put in new procedures to help maintain crowds during peak seasons. Timed Entry  reservations are great for visitors planning to drive over Trail Ridge Road, visit Alpine Visitor Center, take a scenic drive on Old Fall River Road, explore the west side of RMNP, hike at Wild Basin or visit any area of the park located outside of the Bear Lake Road Corridor. Timed Entry reservations are required to enter Rocky Mountain National Park anytime between the hours of 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Timed Entry + Bear Lake Road reservations provide access to destinations located along the Bear Lake Road Corridor, including Bear Lake, Sprague Lake, Moraine Park, and Glacier Gorge. With a Timed Entry + Bear Lake Road reservation, you also have access to all other areas of the park. Timed Entry + Bear Lake Road reservations are required to enter the Bear Lake Road Corridor between the hours of 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Learn more here: https://www.recreation.gov/timed-entry/10086910
