FAQs

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes; we are providing red and white wine, 2 kinds of beer, a variety of soda water, and filtered water (bring your own drinking vessel if can to save on waste). We're keeping it simple.

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol?

Answer

No. The venue is very strict on only allowing what's on the pre-approved list we submit to them, including quantities of each.

Question

Do you really not want gifts?

Answer

No gifts, please—we’ve got all we need in our little home! If you insist, cash is very thoughtful and will be used to fund our homestead. 💚. There is a link to our Venmo accounts in the "Registry" section.

Question

When did you get married and why wasn't I invited?

Answer

We eloped to Maine on 5/25/25! This is just a reception to celebrate with the people we love. No ceremony—just food, drinks, and fun.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

The venue is equipped with plenty of parking.

Question

Can we get in the water?

Answer

The coastline is not easily accessible. It's a great place to watch the waves!

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

Absolutely! Just be in the moment with us—tag us if you share them because we're not hiring a photographer.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please check your RSVP invitation to see if a plus-one is included. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes, just let us know in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Google maps looks confusing, how do I get there?

Answer

If you're traveling north from Kona, you have to flip a u-turn at the light by the new Matsuyama's and backtrack towards Kona. You'll turn into O-Tech, pass the abalone farm and pass Cyanotech before you get to the Salt Farm. It's near the end of the road on the makai side.

Question

I might not be able to make it to Hawaii, are you having any celebration on the mainland?

Answer

Initially we planned to but these things are expensive, so this will be the only reception we have. If you are unable to make it we completely understand.

Question

Can I bring my dog(s)?

Answer

If it were up to us, yes. Unfortunately the venue does not allow doggos.
