This airport is 1.5 hours from Santa Cruz depending on traffic. Flights may be cheaper through here as it is a larger airport. If you do fly into SFO and don’t mind a longer drive, take Highway 1 to Santa Cruz. It is a beautiful drive and much less spooky than 17!
