We are so excited to have you join us in Colorado this summer! Set against the stunning backdrop of the Collegiate Peaks, Buena Vista offers warm, sunny days and cool, refreshing nights. The Arkansas River winds through town, and nearby trails and meadows make for great hiking and biking. With clear skies and crisp mountain air, it’s an ideal setting for a summer celebration. Throw your nostrils to the air and you might just catch a whiff of that all-too-familiar mixture of nag champa, ganja and BO, as a nearby congregation of hippies congregate in a joyous celebration of their King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. The weather this time of year is generally warm during the day and chilly at night; a high of 82 and a low of 48. That said, this is Colorado, the land where bright sunny days can drop 30 degrees and serve up golf-ball sized hail, only to bounce right back. Just ask Mystie. Anyway, here is breakdown of the festivities this weekend. We hope to see you there!

"This event is not related to the wedding," says Mystie, but King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard is hosting a music festival in Buena Vista the same weekend as our wedding 🙄 Nate and a few of his loose hippy friends are planning to attend the Sunday show, and if you're interested in joining, you'll need to buy a ticket!
