Are kids welcome?

Answer

In order to keep the celebration adult-oriented, we kindly request that no children under the age of 18 attend unless their name is listed on the wedding invitation. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at the lower level of the venue, but a shuttle will be provided between the hotel and the venue. More details on shuttle times to come.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, the shuttle will make 2-3 round-trip trips from the hotel to the venue starting at 2:30 pm. The venue is a large orchard that is enjoyable to walk around with strawberry and flower picking this time of year. The shuttle will begin taking people back at 9:30 with the last shuttle running at 11:30. The shuttle company is called Midwest Express.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. We suggest a suit and tie or a dress shirt with slacks for men, and a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates for women. The brighter and lighter the colors, the better.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Cider will be provided during the ceremony. During the cocktail hour, the bar will be fully hosted, including seasonal drinks. After the cocktail hour ends, for non-wedding party guests, alcoholic apple cider, beer, and wine will be provided. Bring a form of payment if you wish to have hard liquor drinks at this time. The wedding party will have a full open bar covered.

What time should we arrive?

Answer

We ask that guests begin to arrive around 4 pm, as the ceremony will begin at 4:30 The orchard is nice to walk around and full of activities. We strongly suggest arriving early to check it out.
