It’s finally here!

We went to high school together but were in different grades Nate a handsome senior, Monique a quiet 10th grader. It wasn’t until we both shared biology class together, that I noticed this really cute guy way out of my league, I knew he would never talk to me, until one day I got a tap on my shoulder and my heart skipped a beat when I glanced up and saw his face. Only to find out that it was my homework he wanted so he could copy it and nothing else. It wasn't until after high school that we met again at a softball tournament during Oakdale Summmerfest. He was up to bat dusting off home plate looking dashingly handsome with his socks pulled up to his knees, and I felt my heart skip a beat again. Finally after the game he came up to me and smiled, fast forward 13 years and three kids later we finally are making it official and are getting married!

It was just a normal day and we just finished a pain staking dinner trying to get the children to eat their veggies. I was relaxing in bed waiting for the children to gather their things to start their nighttime routine. The kids climbed into bed with me rough housing as usual, then I turn to my left to see Nate kneeling next to me with a light flashing in my face. I was thinking to myself why on earth is he blinding me with this light? Then I heard him whisper the words will you marry me? Thats when I noticed it was a beautiful ring not a flashlight being used for interrogation. My heart leaped out of my chest and I grabbed the ring repeating oh my god for about 5 minutes! Maddie brought to my attention that I never answered him and then I exclaimed of course I will!
