It all began on a dark and stormy night, literally. The rain was falling sideways and most people had the good sense to stay home. But God had other plans for Mary Rose and Nate. Nate, ever the gentleman, was on a date… with someone else (!) Meanwhile, Mary Rose had been dragged out against her will by some very persistent friends. Somehow, Nate got pulled into Mary Rose’s group...maybe it was the weather, maybe it was the whiskey, but suddenly he wasn’t on that other date anymore. And then it happened: Mary Rose launched into a passionate, impromptu monologue about the Battle of Little Round Top (because of course she did). Her loud, unapologetic Northern energy collided with Nate’s charming Southern presence, and something sparked. Since that night, they’ve been inseparable. Their love, like their friendship, is loud, unlikely, and rooted in something deeper than chance. What started as a strange, stormy coincidence turned into a time full of laughter, strong opinions, porch nights, insane amounts of anchovy pizzas, and a whole lot of love. They wouldn’t be here without the love and support of their people, and they can’t wait to celebrate with all of you. *Writing Cred: Kendall, Maid of Honor
