The dress code is formal. For women, anywhere from cocktail attire to floor-length gowns are welcome. For men, suits. Dress your best - we want you to look and feel good! Please no jeans, flipflops, shorts, t-shirts, etc.
After the outdoor ceremony, we'll be having a cocktail hour (also outdoor, weather permitting) with passed hors d'oeuvres, followed by a plated dinner in the venue. There is a choice of protein, and the sides are asiago mashed potatoes and roasted brussels sprouts. There will be a vegan and gluten free option of a quinoa stuffed bell pepper. We expect dinner to be served around 7 pm. Be sure to let us know in advance when RSVPing if you have dietary restrictions!
The venue is the 1840's Plaza in downtown Baltimore. It's a historic inn with two attached courtyards and gardens, and a reception venue. The entire wedding will be at the same venue with the ceremony and cocktail hour in the courtyards (there is café lighting for when the sun sets). The venue is walking distance to the Inner Harbor and Harbor East.
Yes, the entire venue is accessible with ramps in the courtyards and an elevator to the reception hall.
Baltimore is a walkable city with a large stretch of waterfront - you can explore neighborhoods like Federal Hill and Fells Point, or grab a late lunch at one of the many bars and restaurants.
