[ freshman year ] Our friend groups merge. We all spend many nights playing board games and spikeball. [ sophomore year ] More board games, more spikeball--we're teammates for our intramural co-op league. [ junior year ] We play lots of pickleball with our friends. Right before summer, Nate tells Maeya that he likes her. We go on a few dates, but Nate is about to spend 2 months in AK. [ senior year ] We write letters back and forth while Nate is in AK. When he returns, he asks Maeya to be his girlfriend. We enjoy a final semester together at Olivet because Maeya graduates early.

[ CO / WI ] Nate gets a job and moves to CO; Maeya remains in WI for grad school. We live life in parallel, yet are blessed to go no longer than 2 months between hugs. [ engagement ] Nate surprises Maeya. It is a dream day. We are surrounded by people we love and our cheeks hurt from smiling. [ CO ] Thanks to kind and generous friends (shoutout Urfers!), we have the opportunity to spend a summer month together adventuring. Many sweet memories are made. [ WI ] Nate is promoted and moves back to WI, thus ending long-distance sooner than anticipated! We are in awe of God's care for us.

The day we've been waiting for! Originally planned for June of next year, but bumped to this fall. :) We believe God has brought us together and have seen His hand all throughout our relationship. We are eager to serve Him as a team for the rest of our lives.
