It was June 7th, 2025, we were headed out to dinner for what I thought was a celebration of the girls incredible test scores in school. Nate and the girls had other plans. Everyone knew, but me. Per usual. We had our first round of sushi, and then Nate and the girls went to the bathroom to game plan. The girls came back to our table, fully ready to paparazzi the whole thing, while I sat just excited to have a family dinner night out with my favorite people. Nate comes out and pretends to trip over the door frame, while tactfully (Nate says tactically) pulling the ring box out of his pocket. I, completely oblivious to what is happening, thinking Nate actually fell and hurt his back, was freaking out about the "fall". Nate finally said "Liv, the girls and I were wondering if you would marry us?". I looked down, saw the ring, then looked into his eyes and saw the rest of my life. In every single way, it was the most perfect proposal. Nate, the girls and me. It was the easiest yes of my life.
