Flight
The best airport to fly into for our wedding is Lihue Airport (LIH), which is the main airport on Kauai. It’s located on the east side of the island, about 35 minutes from the Sheraton Kauai Resort. Flights from the West Coast usually arrive in the early to mid afternoon. Many flights leaving Kauai are red-eyes—departing in the late afternoon or evening and arriving on the mainland early the next morning (especially for East Coast routes). 💡 Tip: Since check-out times are often before noon but flights aren’t until later, consider sleeping in and spending the rest of your departure day exploring, relaxing at the beach, or even staying by the pool at the hotel to rest and freshen up before heading to the airport.

The Sheraton Kauai Resort sits right on Poipu Beach, offering sweeping ocean views, lush tropical gardens, and some of the island’s most stunning sunsets. For those that booked using our group rate, daily breakfast for two at Lava's on Poipu Beach will be included and the $40/night resort fee will be waived upon check-in.

The Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay is 18 miles from the Sheraton Kauai Resort, where our ceremony and reception will be held. It's about a 40-minute drive one-way. The Hilton is located next to Lydgate Beach Park and offers beautiful ocean views and is 10 minutes from the airport. While we don’t have a group rate set up there, it can be a convenient choice for anyone looking for different accommodations.
