The Historic Third Ward is the perfect place to explore in the afternoon or evening. Begin at the Milwaukee Public Market, then wander to some of our favorite bars and restaurants, like Café Benelux, Camp Bar, The Outsider, and Central Standard. And for a little piece of our story, don’t miss Blue Bat Taqueria, where we had our first date over tacos and a tequila flight!
Milwaukee is famous for its breweries! One of our favorites is Lakefront Brewery, where you can take a tour, enjoy a tasting, and soak in the lively atmosphere that makes it a must‑visit. Other favorites worth checking out include Water Street Brewery, Central Waters, Explorium Brewpub, Eagle Park, and MobCraft—you really can’t go wrong with any of them!
Tosa Village is a fun outdoor environment with charming boutiques and some of our favorite restaurants, including Leff's, Buckatabon Tavern & Supper Club, Café Hollander, and Draft & Vessel. It’s a great spot to stroll, shop, and grab a bite to eat while exploring the area.
Katy's all-time favorite place! A must-do every time she goes back to Wisconsin. Some of our favorite animals to check out include the otters, the new hippo exhibit, and the elephants!
