We first met when we were put in the same project group in college for one of our Accounting classes Senior year. Nate kept trying to talk with Katie during class, which the professor did not appreciate. Then, one of Katie's friends approached Nate at a party and asked if he knew Katie. Nate said she was in one of his project groups and she seemed cool. Nate's roommates had to spell this one out for him later; "Dude... she's been telling her friends about you. She has a crush on you!". Little did Katie know, Nate had a crush on her as well. This project group would go out to eat on Thursdays when classes were over. One day, everyone happened to cancel for one reason or another. Katie texted Nate "hey, I'm still down to get food if you are". I guess you could say it was our first date! And the rest is history.
