We kindly ask that only those guests listed on your invitation attend our wedding. Due to venue capacity and planning considerations, we are unable to accommodate additional plus ones or children who are not specifically included on the invitation. Thank you for understanding and helping us celebrate our special day!
Semi-Formal // Ladies think long or midi dresses. Men think suits or jackets.
We encourage guests to take Vail's free public bus service to the ceremony. The Matterhorn bus stop is just a short 5-minute walk from Donovan Pavilion. For those who prefer to drive, complimentary parking is available at the venue. At the end of the evening, we plan to provide shuttle service from the reception to help guests get home safely and conveniently. Additional details, including shuttle pickup locations and times, will be shared closer to the wedding date.
You can book flights from your city of origin to either Denver International Airport or the Eagle-Vail Airport to get into Colorado. Denver International Airport is approximately 2 hours east of Vail and is a large airport hub. Eagle-Vail Airport is approximately 30-40 minutes from Vail and is a smaller regional airport that has direct flights from a few cities or non direct flights from other cities with a layover typically in Denver or Dallas.
We recommend either a rental car or a shuttle service. Epic Mountain Express provides shuttles from both airports. Once you are in Vail, you do not necessarily need a car because there is a free in-town bus that can get you around town easily. Parking in Vail can be expensive and not readily available. Mountain airport shuttles are the way to go for those who don't want to rent a car to get into town from DIA or the Eagle-Vail airport. Uber and Lyft are occasionally available in town, but cannot be used to and from the airport. Please see the travel tab for a link to the Epic Mountain Express shuttle.
You do not necessarily need a car in Vail! Vail Village and Lionshead Village are a 10-15 minute walk apart. Additionally, there is a free in-town bus that goes between both villages as well as some of the outlying areas of the town from roughly 6:30AM to 2AM. It is an easy way to get around once you are in Vail. Most hotels have shuttles around town. Ubers/Lyfts are occasionally available. The cheapest parking in town is at the Vail Village Parking Structure or Lionshead Parking Structure.
Please see the Travel/Lodging tab for our hotel recommendations. There are many Airbnbs/VRBOs, hotel, and condo options in the area. Regardless of where you choose to stay, we recommend booking early and being within walking distance to a Vail bus route. Prices tend to increase closer to the summer.
The average temperature in Vail in June is low-mid 70s during the day, and low-mid 40s at night.
