FAQs

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We would love to see you Friday at 7:00pm for the Welcome Event! If you’re not able to make it Friday, make sure to get to The Wylder Hotel by 4:00pm on Saturday. The Ceremony will start at 4:30pm, Reception to follow!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Under the Travel tab, we’ve provided hotel options on Tilghman Island that are within walking distance to The Wylder Hotel. There are also Airbnb options on the island. We highly recommend staying on the island, as we’ve been told it can be difficult to arrange Uber rides.

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) and Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA) are both about a 2-hour drive to The Wylder Hotel.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire for the Welcome Event on Friday. Coastal vibes! Black tie optional for Wedding Ceremony and Reception on Saturday. Wear your best!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Question

Where should I eat?

Answer

The Wylder Hotel provides complimentary breakfast at Bar Mumbo every morning. Tickler’s Crab Shack & Restaurant at Wylder is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We’ve provided more options under the “Things To Do” tab.

Question

Can I bring my own food and/or drink to The Wylder Hotel?

Answer

The Wylder Hotel asks that personal food and/or drink are not brought into bar or restaurant spaces. This includes Bar Mumbo and Tickler’s Crab Shack. Open bar and food will be provided at Friday and Saturday events!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Formal invitations will arrive closer to the wedding date, however, we’d love if you can RSVP as soon as possible! We kindly request you RSVP no later than May 1, 2026. Our venue requires a final headcount by that date. Reach out to (804) 543-8392 if you have any issues/questions. Thank you!
