The Wedding Website of Bobby Nate Rogers and Courtney Chantelle Walpole
Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Vendela Jonsson

Maid of Honor

We met in college and have been two peas in a pod ever since! You may also hear her being called "V". Vendela lives in Sweden but I am so thankful to have friends all over the world. We have traveled to Europe, Canada, and many states in the US together! I can't forget to mention how incredible V is at hockey. She was my goalie for 4 years in college and a huge reason why we made it to the NCAA tournament. Vendela is one of the sweetest people I have met and I can't wait to have her by my side as I get married to Nate. If you don't know her, I encourage you to meet her at the wedding!

Michael Piehler

Best Man

Michael and I met in elementary school and pretty quickly became close friends. Whether it was setting up a small golf course in my backyard or trying to shoot trick shots at the park, we always found a way to turn anything into a game. Michael lives in Minnesota now with his amazing wife, Miranda, but we still make time to golf and hang out whenever we can. I could not have asked for a better friend to get through school and life with!

Diana Celularo

Bridesmaid

Diana and I met by chance and I am so happy we did! We were assigned randomly to be roommates my freshman year of college. Diana quickly became a good friend. She is sweet and caring. Over the four years I spent in Boston, I probably spent every 3 day weekend with her and her family. I can't thank her enough for her loving open arms. I was lucky enough to have her as a roommate for most of my college career. I always knew I could look in the stands at my game and she would be sitting there with a big smile on her face cheering us on! For my friends and family who haven't met Diana, first, beware she has a funny accent, secondly, be ready to make a true friend.

Jake Hagström

Groomsman

Jake Hagstrom, who you may hear being called Hags, is the 7 to my 11. We met when we were 15 years old playing hockey and his outgoing personality made me feel right at home on the team. We have been through thick and thin together and always found a way to smile and laugh through it. Currently, Hags is living and working in Longview, TX. All in all, Hags has been by my side through it all and I couldn't have gotten here without him!

Avery Bennett

Bridesmaid

Avery and I have been friends since we were young! We grew up playing hockey together, yes in Texas. Avery went to college to play D1 lacrosse while I went to school for hockey but that didn't separate us. Avery has always been up for spontaneous dinners or hangouts. We spent many of our high school years staying up way too late and talking about how our life would be. Little did I know at the time that I would be marrying one of the guys that skated with Avery and I. Avery is a dear friend and a down to earth gal. I am so thankful for her.

Garrett Gintoli

Groomsman

Garrett and I became teammates at college and eventually roommates. We shared a love for all things funny and all things competitive. Garrett is an incredible hockey player and has been able to represent the USA in the Deaflympics! Garrett is going through grad school in Milwaukee, WI, and playing in his super-senior season. Whether we were walking to the rink or playing badminton in the living room, we always found a way to make something fun!

Jill Walpole

Mother of the Bride

This is my sweet mom. She is beautiful, brilliant, and strong. She has always been the person I go to for advice. She taught me how to love and serve, I hope to be more and more like her every day! She is the incredible mastermind who put this wedding together and I can't thank her enough for this special day.

Kathy Rogers

Mother of the Groom

My mom Kathy is an amazing person and role model in my life. She has taught me so many life lessons about perseverance and getting through tough times while also serving and putting others first. She has always been my biggest cheerleader both in the stands and off the ice. She is a fan favorite since she and my dad own a Nothing Bundt Cakes! Thanks for everything mom!

Bruce Walpole

Father of the Bride

The man, the myth, the legend... I'm kidding, but I sure think he's super dad. If you haven't heard our story, this guy is a huge part of it. When I was ten my dad was coaching me in hockey, looking for the next best player for our team he heard about a kid named Nate Rogers. We heard he was playing nearby so we went to scout him out for our team and the rest is history. Fifteen years later my dad and Nate coach 12 year olds, how cool is that?

Bryan Rogers

Father of the Groom

My dad Bryan has been a constant presence in my life. I grew up home-schooled and he worked from home, so we spent a lot of my life together and I am thankful for the time we shared. I am grateful for him teaching me to think outside of the box and encouraging me to pursue my dreams. One of the reasons I am where I am today is because he always believed I could do anything I set my mind to. Thanks for helping me become the person I am today dad!
