Explore Historic Downtown Cali

Cali's San Antonia neighborhood is known for its colonial architecture. San Antonio is a great area filled with colorful houses, art galleries, cafes, and local artisan shops. It's a great place to explore, take photos, and enjoy Cali’s artistic vibe.

Taste Local Cuisine

Try traditional Colombian dishes! Cali offers amazing local dishes, such as empanadas, arepas, sancocho, arroz atollado, as well as traditional sweets. We encourage you to try fresh fruit juices from tropical fruits that are native to Colombia. La Alameda Market is a great spot for experiencing Colombian street food and fresh fruit.

Visit Local Museums

Colombia has several museums that showcase modern art and historical collections. Check out Museo La Tertulia, which is is Cali’s modern art museum. It houses an extensive collection of contemporary Colombian and Latin American art, including paintings, sculptures, and installations, as well as a beautiful outdoor sculpture garden. Another favorite is Museo del Oro, or "Museum of Gold," which displays a range of pre-Columbian gold artifacts, ceramics, and tools, providing insight into the lives of Colombia’s early civilizations.

Hike Cali's National Park

Just outside Cali, Farallones National Park offers trails, waterfalls, and beautiful views for those who enjoy outdoor activities. Guided hikes are available, which can include stops to swim in natural pools and spot unique wildlife.

Dance Salsa in the Capital of Salsa

Cali is famous for its salsa! Guests can take beginner salsa classes at local dance studios, such as Salsa Pura or Swing Latino, and join locals on the dance floor at a Salsa Club! Recommend clubs include La Topa Tolondra or Tin Tin Deo, which offer an authentic Cali salsa nightlife.
