Answer

Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, several hotels are available in the Lewisburg area and are listed on the Travel page. Our adventerous guests may also want to check out the camping and cabin facilities at the R.B. Winters State Park Website: https://www.pa.gov/agencies/dcnr/recreation/where-to-go/state-parks/find-a-park/raymond-b-winter-state-park.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. Please plan accordingly. All of the recommended hotels in Lewisburg are 30 minutes from R.B. Winters State Park.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

All guests are asked to meet at Pavillion 1 by noon on October 11th. Our officiant will lead you to the ceremony amphitheater. This walk is 0.25 miles with frequent stops over varied terrain including grass, stone paths, sand, and packed gravel. There is also a parking lot next to the amphitheater for guests who would prefer not to walk. If you choose to park, please arrive at the amphitheater by noon.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! R. B Winters has ample parking and is handicap accessible. The main parking lot is closest to the pavilion and a smaller parking lot near the ceremony is available for those who choose not to walk along the trail.

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! The pavilion is covered and umbrellas will be provided in the case of rain.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No. The reception is a picnic in the state park. Please take care when selecting your foot attire. The park is a mixture of terrains including grass, packed gravel, sand, pavement, and stone paths.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Since we will be at a state park, no alcohol will be served. We will have a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we are happy to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance.
