Orono Brewing Company - Tasting Room & Kitchen
This is our favorite brewery anywhere! The main building is a little out of the way, but the tasting room in downtown is also nice! Grab a growler to go, you'll need it!
Thai Kitchen
This is the best Thai food you will ever have! We used to eat here so much, the owners knew us and made special orders for us! (Honestly, if this is the only place you eat, it'll be worth it.)
Woodman's Bar & Grill
This restaurant and bar has great food for poor college kids and bougie eclectic pallets.
The Family Dog
This place has great hot dogs, burgers, and shakes, but you aren't going to expect all the kinds of dogs you can have.
OHOP Orono House of Pizza
This pizza is awesome! Its good for both having a good time with some friends, and stuffing your face at 2 am after a little too much to drink.
Marsh Island Brewing
Like all the beer that is brewed in Orono and Bangor, this beer is amazing! I don't know of any beers here I don't like. The tasting room is a little small, so its a nice atmosphere to catch up with someone.
Burby And Bates Redemption Center
Want a lot of cheap liquor, beer or wine? This place is calling your name! They sell everything from cheap beer to expensive whiskey and even kegs (Not that you can bring alcohol into the reception...)
Harvest Moon Deli
Harvest Moon is a great deli to get fresh paninis and wraps. They aren't that expensive and have a lot of flavors.
Mount Hope Cemetery
This is another great place to go for a walk.
Steven Kings House

Littlefield Garden
This a great little garden that's good for plant nuts and people who just wanna hang out in somewhere cool.
Bog Walk
This is a great place to go for a nice walk and is a different atmosphere than usual nature walks.
Canoe and Kayak Rental on the Stillwater
This is located at the University Inn and Academic Suites. Just give them a call for details.
Collins Center for the Arts
This is a generally small museum, but worth a visit!
Hollywood Casino Hotel & Raceway Bangor
If you are into gambling, head to Hollywood Casino in downtown Bangor!
Bangor Dog Park
This is a great place to take your dog (or dogs) and you will probably find us there at least once or twice!
Sanctuary Spa & Wellness Center
We have not been here yet, but might be trying it out this fall.
DeMeritt Hiking Trails
These trails range from paved bike paths to little more than footpaths. There is a lot to see and you can go for a small loop or a ten-mile hike. They are also dog friendly!
