Juan and Natausha’s story began in a place they never expected. They attended the same church for years but never actually met—Juan was the drummer and knew Natausha’s family, while Natausha didn’t attend often due to work and had no idea who he was. Over time, Juan started popping up across Natausha’s social media, liking photos and sending hearts on her stories. Curious, she finally asked her parents who he was, only to hear, “Oh, that’s Juan—the drummer.” From then on, she started noticing him a little more and affectionately referred to him as “cute church boy” to her friends. One day, a simple Snapchat story and a few heart emojis turned into a conversation, then daily messages, and eventually time spent together in person. After a few dates, Juan asked Natausha to be his girlfriend on Easter—April 17, 2022. From that moment on, they’ve been inseparable, growing together, supporting one another, and building the life they’re so excited to celebrate.
On October 17, 2025, Juan surprised Natausha during a bonfire at her nana’s house surrounded by family, music, and plenty of excitement. After asking her to cover her eyes, he dropped to one knee with her nana’s ring in a moment that was heartfelt, emotional, and full of laughter. Caught completely off guard, Natausha said yes without hesitation. Two days later, on October 19, 2025, the moment happened again—this time at the beach at sunset while taking engagement photos. As they stood looking out at the ocean, talking about how surreal it was to be engaged, Juan smiled and said, “You know what’s even crazier? Doing it twice.” He got down on one knee once more, this time with the ring they had chosen together, and asked her again. Of course, she said yes—again.
On October 3, 2026, we’ll wake up knowing this day was written long before we ever imagined it. A day shaped by God’s timing, filled with gratitude for every step, every lesson, and every season that led us here. We’ll take quiet moments to breathe, pray, and reflect—remembering how our story unfolded in ways we never planned but always needed. Surrounded by the people who have loved, supported, and prayed for us, we’ll stand together and make promises rooted in faith, trust, and intentional love. By the end of the day, we won’t just be celebrating a wedding—we’ll be beginning a marriage guided by grace, strengthened by commitment, and grounded in the belief that we are better together with God at the center. And while this day will pass, the life we’re building hand in hand will only be getting started.
