We met on a dating app, called Hinge. The first date didn't feel like a first date - it felt as though we'd been together forever. There was a connection right away that neither of us had experienced before. We talked about everything and laughed A LOT. We both knew this was the start of something incredible and so special.

Nathan had one plan for proposing...COVID had another. During a trip to visit family, we carved out a day to visit Zion National Park. When we got to Zion, we found out we were unable to do the hike we originally planned on doing. So we made other plans for our time at the park. At the top of the gorgeous Canyon Overlook, we asked another hiker to take our picture. As Tasia stepped forward to get her phone back, Nathan requested one more photo. When Tasia turned around, Nathan was getting down on one knee, pulling the ring box out of his pocket, and asked her if she would spend the rest of her life with him! Everything about that moment was perfect! With all the excitement, neither of us can remember if Tasia actually said yes.
