He called me the lady by the snack machine. My first thought was "He's a Geek" but once I really started to be around him, I realized that he is awesome. It started off as car pooling then blossomed into a great friendship. I found myself wanting to be around him more and more. The one thing that brought it together besides our countless hours of conversations was my kids would constantly ask me, "When is he coming back?", when he would leave. That was a huge plus being my kids approve of him and love to be around him. He would compliment me, make me laugh, make me feel safe when I am around him and we never ran out of conversation. I felt like a queen in his presence so much I took him out for dinner. My fondest memory amongst most was our first snow around each other. He called me after I got home from work to ask what I was doing. I advised him "Nothing, looking crazy" and that's when he said let's go ride out in the snow. It was the one of the best days ever! We rode around in "The Mexican" which was his Rodeo SUV. We almost seem like the only ones on the road until he ended up rescuing a couple of people stuck on the ice on the road. I took observation of his helpful demeanor. We rode and just talked until we parked, got of the car and played in the snow. On 3/6/2014 I then asked what are we going to do and that day we decided to go from friends to a meaningful relationship. We decided to move into a place together and I started a new job as well to later find out the we were expecting. We were super excited for starting so many new chapters that his selflessness showed on his bday 12/19/2018, he proposed to me. Our definition of true love.
