It’s happening! We are FINALLY getting married!!

We met online on meetme.com. I already know what you are going to say, “I can’t believe something good and real actually came from online dating!” Me either. He found me first by messaging me and telling me I look beautiful and would like to call me on the phone to talk and get to know me. Giving him a chance, he called me and we could not get off the phone. We were on the phone every night for 6 months before we went on our first date. By this time, he is already my best friend It was June 25, 2016 (Father’s day) but our official boyfriend/girlfriend names didnt come until July 11, 2016. That was the day I finally reciprocated my feelings and told him I love him.

On March 31, 2017, Robert was sick with pneumonia. I felt real bad that he had to come home and be miserable so I left some powerade and some snacks and medicine and a love note for him to have while at home while I am working. He came home and seen how everything was set up and immediately, he rushed to my job. I was on my lunch break with a few coworkers. He found me, thanked me for the snacks and note, then he told me about how much he loved me. Next thing I know, he got down on one knee in front of everyone and asked me to marry him. He picked out a heart shaped ring because it symbolizes our love for each other. I was so happy and excited, I said “YES!!!”. Now, at least 2 years later, we are finally getting married!!
