Halil and Natasha first connected on an app known as 'Salams' around the start of 2022, though, for them, it didn't take long to feel that something about this match was different, special. Halil's profile instantly had Natasha giggling at a cute and clever quote from their shared favorite cartoon, Spongebob Squarepants. They quickly discovered that they in fact shared a love for many of the same authors, movies and music too! What began as lighthearted conversation soon grew into something beautifully deeper. Conversation flowed with a surprising ease, and each day brought a realization of warm familiarity. It was as if they had both stumbled upon another who spoke their same language of humor, curiosity and kindness. Day by day they found themselves looking forward to each message, discovering new overlaps in views and values. Over the months, their chats had turned into long thoughtful calls which started a bond rooted in trust, warmth and faith. Even at a distance, their connection felt grounded and sincere, as they truly began to understand each other. By fall, with clarity and commitment, they chose each other. Their relationship blossomed through small, sweet details: their shared love of tiramisu, sushi, and great steak; the coincidence that they're both December Sagittarius'; and the way they both supported each other working through the demanding days of health care. They became sources of calm, and reassurance for one another - celebrating successes, easing frustrations and, offering constant encouragement to be our best.
