We recommend flying into Phoenix Sky Harbor airport and renting a car to drive from Phoenix to Tucson. The Tucson airport is small, so it is cheaper and faster to take a direct flight into PHX and then drive a little. If you choose the Tucson airport, you'll have to take a connecting flight and will have a layover.

If you stay at the Tucson Courtyard Marriott, it is a 1 hour and 45 minute drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor. The Tucson Courtyard Marriott is about 20 minutes from Tucson International Airport.
