What are the COVID-19 guidelines for the venue?

Answer

In order to keep all of our guests safe, guests are required to be vaccinated or provide a negative COVID test that is taken no more than 96 hours prior to 9am Friday October 8, 2021. Please email a copy of your vaccination card or negative COVID-19 test to BoathouseCovid19@gmail.com or you can text a picture to Natasha Boyce at 202-355-4418. The Boathouse Restaurant staff are fully vaccinated and will wear a mask. Guests that are not vaccinated must wear a mask unless they are eating and drinking. However, all attendees are to follow CDC guidelines and Virginia laws at the time of the wedding on mask wearing if they change. Please plan accordingly based on CDC guidelines and your personal comfort level.

Is the Wedding on Sunday evening?

Yes. The wedding is SUNDAY, October 10, 2021 at 4:30pm. It's a holiday weekend so hopefully you have Monday off to rest.

Please RSVP by August 12, 2021 and note your meal choice.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

4:30pm. Seating will begin at 4:30pm

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If your kids are listed on the invitation, they are welcome. Otherwise, no. Our wedding guests count is limited by COVID-19 rules and budgetary restrictions.

No, unless your invitation says "plus one." Our wedding guests count is limited by COVID-19 rules and budgetary restrictions.

Can I send someone in my place if I can't make it?

Answer

No. Please don't. Please let us know if you can no longer make it so we can adjust our guest list.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There is free parking at the wedding and reception location.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. Please use Uber or Lyft or have a designated driver to transport you if plan to party hard.

Yes. There are 4 locations so ensure you put the The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing in your GPS.
