Edward and Natasha began dating in May 2019. It was "love at first sight" for Natasha. Our first date was May 19, 2019, to attend their first church service together at 31st Avenue Baptist Church in Meridian, MS. We soon became the "it couple" at TJ Harris Upper Elementary School. Between working, dating, and part-time jobs, we maintained a healthy and strong relationship. We are definitely #ENLove with each other!
Edward told Natasha that she would be given a “Yes Day” on November 19th. Natasha was so excited and happy that she went around the whole week at school telling the students and other staff members that Friday was her “Yes Day”! Little did she know that her “Yes Day” would be an actual day of her saying Yes to a Marriage Proposal! When the bell rang for students to be dismissed at 1:00pm, Natasha was walked to the car and told to get on the passengar side of her own vehicle. She was driven around for hours and blindfolded for most of the trip. She was taken on a scavengar hunt where she had to answer questions from a poem and clues that led her to different places around Thomaston, AL. The last clue landed her to the home that her and Edward share. Natasha was blindfolded and brought into the house where she was met with rose petals lined on the floor that lead to the living room. Standing, was her soon to be fiance waiting on her to come answer more questions about their relationship! Some of the students from Amelia Love Johnson High School did a cheer which made Natasha cry tears of joy! Edward was not done yet though. He also had a proposal box with a poem that brought even more tears! Edward took her hands in his and and cued another student to sing He and Natasha’s favorite song “Can’t Let Go” by Calvin Richardson while his long time friend, Preston Thomas played along on his saxophone! Edward got on one knee and asked Natasha to be his forever by spending the rest of her with him! Of course, she said Yes on her “YES DAY”!!!
