Can I bring a date?

Answer

We're keeping our celebration intimate and special, so we kindly ask that only invited guest (those named on your invitation and listed under your party name on the RSVP page) join us. We truly appreciate your understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we're asking for cocktail attire. We'd love for men to wear a suit or a dress shirt and tie in any color, and for women to wear an evening dress or skirt in a mid-thigh to mid-calf length. Please avoid jeans, shorts, flip-flops, and ivory or white tones. Since all events will be held indoors with air conditioning, you can dress comfortably without worry. What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you arrive by 1:00 pm, as Mass will begin promptly at 1:30 pm. This will give you plenty of time to find a seat and settle in comfortably.

Is this a full Catholic Mass?

Answer

Yes, we're having a full Catholic Mass with communion. If you're unfamiliar with the service, we'll provide programs to help you follow along, and Father Dan will guide everyone throughout the ceremony. Please note that communion is reserved for practicing Catholics; if this doesn’t apply to you, we kindly ask that you remain in the pews during that portion of the Mass.

Can I take pictures throughout the ceremony and reception?

Answer

During our ceremony, we're creating an unplugged experience so everyone can be fully present with us. We kindly ask that you silence your phones during this time. We've hired a talented photographer and content creator to beautifully document the day, and we're happy to share any photos with you upon request. Once we move into cocktail hour and the reception, please feel free to capture as many moments as you'd like! You'll find a QR code at every table that connects to a shared Google folder, making it easy for you to upload your photos from the evening.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we do! You'll find our complete registry on the Registry page of our website. Since we're traveling from home, we have limited space for physical gifts, so we kindly ask that you ship any items to the address provided through the registry. Thank you!

Is alcohol provided at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We're delighted to provide a full bar for our guests. You'll enjoy a selection of beer, house wines, and a complete bar, along with non-alcoholic options including water, coffee, and sodas. Please note the following beverage policies set by the museum: • Guests must be 21 years of age or older to be served alcohol, and a valid ID is required. • The museum reserves the right to refuse beverage service to any guest. • The museum reserves the right to close beverage service at any time. • Shots are not available after 10pm. • As the only licensed authority to sell and serve alcoholic beverages on the museum campus, outside alcohol is not permitted. Any alcoholic beverages brought onto the premises will be disposed of, and guests who do not comply may be asked to leave. • Indiana state law prohibits alcoholic beverages from leaving the museum building.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, we're happy to confirm that parking is available at both venues. **At the Church:** Please use the front entrance on the west side of the church (picture is shown in the gallery tab!) Parking is located behind the church, adjacent to St. Mary's Catholic School. Handicap-accessible spaces are available on the north side of the church. **At the Museum:** Enter through the main building, identifiable by its large glass windows and green "entrance" awning. Parking is available on the front and north side of the museum, with additional parking across the street.
