The hotel rooms you blocked at State View Hotel are sold out, where do I stay?

Answer

Raleigh is full of hotels, and the commute across Raleigh is about 15-25 min. If you're looking to stay close to the wedding venue, I suggest DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh-Brownstown University, Aloft Raleigh Hotel and Four Points by Sheraton Raleigh Arena.

Are children allowed ?

It's a special day for the couple!! Although we would love to accommodate everyone, we have limited space. So we are asking No Children. We want you to have a good time!!

What to wear?

Answer

This is a semi-formal event. We ask No athletic wear, sneakers, and jeans. Out of respect for the Bride, Ladies we ask that you do not wear white.

What are we doing to protect against Covid19?

Answer

As many of you know, we have already postponed our wedding to see if time will allow to bend the curve with the number of covid rates.. The venue is taking precautions for the safety of our guests by having staff sanitize the area before and after the event. We are checking temperatures using non-touch infrared thermometers. If needed, seating arrangements for the ceremony and reception will be spaced to allow for social distancing. As of now, we are still providing buffet dinner but changing to a plated dinner would be an option. We are also providing personalized masks to wear during ceremony and reception. We ask that if you are feeling sick, have a cough, fatigue, severely immunocompromised or don’t feel comfortable being around a group of people.. PLEASE STAY HOME.. You can send your love and life blessings from afar.

Can I wear a mask to the wedding?

Answer

We would love if no mask were worn due to amount of money spent on photography/videography but we understand health concerns during this confusing time. We want the memories of our wedding to be a great, care free experience for all, and not remindful of covid 19 pandemic!! If you want to wear a mask, We ARE PROVIDING PERSONALIZED MASKS to wear at the ceremony and reception. We ask that you wear the mask we provide for photography uniform.
