In Colorado, Daniel receives a home brewing kit from his daughter Scarlett, and begins a journey of craft brewing. In Pennsylvania, Natasha is on a pre-vet track at Allegheny College, studying to become a doctor of veterinarian medicine.

Daniel and his friend Justin look into craft brewery certification at Regis University and Daniel learns he'll need internship hours as part of the program. He reaches out to a few places and hears back from a small local brewery called Bent Barley. Natasha completes her doctorate at Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. She applies far and wide but ultimately accepts an offer at a clinic in Aurora, Colorado.

Daniel completes his craft brewing internship. Natasha moves into a new apartment across from the Southlands outdoor mall, where she frequently walks Merlot, shops at the stores, and sometimes socializes with friends.

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon Natasha was taking a stroll with Merlot at Southlands mall when she decided to hop into Bent Barley to say hi to some of her friends that were hanging out there. Daniel was hard at work at his internship when he saw this cute girl and her dog walk up. He opened the door for her and watched as she walked over to her friends. After his shift was over Daniel decided to grab a drink at the bar and decided to try his luck with this cute girl. After a brief introduction from a mutual friend the rest is history.

While on vacation in Mexico with Natasha’s company Daniel planned romantic dinner for two on the beach. Although the weather had other plans they still had a magical night with a special question being popped in the end.
