Natascia and Colleen met in law school and immediately bonded over being new moms. Natascia and Colleen welcomed Jason as a third wheel into their friendship later on in law school and even invited him to car sushi (a tradition). Natascia and Colleen continue to be best friends after surviving law school together and raising their daughters to be besties too.

Rick and Jason have been friends since the early Navy days. Rick is also The Godfather of Jason and Natascia’s daughter, Addy. Rick and Jason have conspired to do what most young navy 20 somethings get themselves into and luckily as we stand here today most of the statute of limitations have lapsed.
Hailey Mott

Hailey and Natascia have been friends since college. They were in the same sorority. Natascia’s favorite memory of Hailey is when they went out for brunch and Hailey said she was scared because she was speeding the whole way over going 100 mph and then Natascia pointed out her car was actually km per hour.
Josh Pulvermacher

Josh and Jason met on the USS Nimitz. They were stuck on the same watch team on deployment which meant they were forced to talk for 5 hours every 15 hours for 10 months. Inevitably, they found common interests such as barbecue, sous vide, discussions about pellets, what type of grill to buy next, brisket, searing steaks, and barbecue.

Jenny and Natascia met in college and were in the same sorority. They also lived together for a year in an apartment in Champaign. They will be forever first buds.
Joe Racke

Joe and Jason met in upstate New York when they both were instructors at prototype. Jason and Joe worked the same shift work section, and took an interest in trading penny stocks during the work day instead of doing work. Following their stint in New York, they took a 30 day road trip together across the country as they both headed to their next duty assignments.
Rowan Bork

Rowan and Natascia met in college and were in the same sorority. They lived together for a semester in the boonies. For fun, they would go to Walmart and pick out a cookie cake to split (and this happened more than once a week). Now they love going to comedy shows and out to eat together with Jenny!
Ben Widder

Ben and Jason arrived on the USS Nimitz around the same time. Jason and Ben both have a charming no-bullshit attitude. Having the same interests Jason and Ben quickly synced up with talks about finances and investing. Ben and Jason were roommates until Jason got out of the Navy. Eventually, Jason talked Ben into moving back to the Midwest to be with his boat boo once again.
Megan Carbia

Meg and Natascia met through Rick and Jason. They bond over all the crazy stories they hear from these wild Navy men. Natascia and Meg love FaceTiming to vent about work and life and playing Jackbox when they’re together. They are so happy they have each other for endless double dates.
Rey Racoma

Rey is Jason’s brother from another mother. Jason’s always been inspired by Rey’s selfless attitude and can-do attitude when it comes to any problem or frankly anything. Jason and Rey always kept in touch even after the Navy when Rey would go out of his way to stop in Chicago on his way to his next duty station, and Jason would always stop in Hawaii or wherever Rey was stationed if there was even a remote chance for a connecting flight.
Angel Smith

Angel and Natascia met at work. One day Natascia asked Angel to come chat and they talked for way too long on the clock and realized they had a ton in common. Angel has been Natascia’s friend since her and Jason started dating. Now they love going to brunch together, sharing hilarious Instagram stories, and talking about everything under the sun as soul sisters.
Jason Goblirsch

Jason and Jason have the same name and basically everything else. They also met in upstate New York and got along by both having similar tastes in hobbies: weight lifting, shit talking, and saying it like it is. Jason G is one of the smartest people Jason knows. During their stint in college, Jason was on deployment while Jason G was tackling civilian life, and despite Jason G giving Jason all of the right answers, Jason T still managed to get a C in his second to last class to graduate.
Marla Izbicky

Marla and Natascia met at work. Marla was an amazing mentor to Natascia and is still a wonderful friend. They used to bond over work and now they bond over mom life and life in general. Natascia will always have fond memories of going into Marla’s office and gossiping for hours at a time sometimes and avoiding work.
Luis Rodriguez

Luis (Rod) and Jason met when Luis arrived in upstate New York. Rod has always kept the group out of trouble with his “reason” and “smart decisions.” The funniest memory Jason has with Rod is when they were riding motorcycles together (Jason’s first time) and on the way back to the lake house (which has a very steep driveway), Jason attempted to gently gas the motorcycle up the driveway, and the motorcycle came out from underneath Jason and went up the driveway without him. Rod was standing at the top of the driveway laughing his ass off…as it should be.
