Germany is beautiful country, filled with multiple attractions, amazing food, and beer that will leave your taste buds asking for more. However, it is just one of many charming countries in Europe. We suggest Zurich, Amsterdam, Paris, Bruges, Prague, Salzburg, Nice or Venice. Luckily they are all a short flight, car ride, or train ride away. Let your adventurous side run wild!
Munich is home to the world’s premiere Oktoberfest celebration. However, you’ll find multiple cities across Germany celebrating this event with beer, food, fun outfits, and general festivity abound. The name Oktoberfest is deceiving, as it actually starts in September. Dates for 2020: September 19 to October 4. We will be in Cologne September 26th, taking in their version of the festivities.

Just seven kilometers east of Heidelberg, the Königstuhl — or King's Seat — is a hill rising 567 meters with spectacular views as far as the Rhine Valley.
