We like to believe our love story started on our second date at the Grand Ole' Creamery where we fell in love with each other over our mutual affinity for ice cream. Fast forward five years after multiple ice cream shops across multiple states, various travel adventures, and raising our 8 year old Labradoodle (Tod).

We booked a weekend getaway to Grand Marais which had become quickly one of our favorite places to visit. We spent the majority of our time walking around, enjoying multiple rounds of maple lattes (seriously the best up there), and playing scrabble by the fire. On February 26th, 2021, Tom made me the happiest person in the world after he and Tod (holding the sign) finally proposed to me after five years together. Neither of us remember much after that, but needless to say that place will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
