The bride to be!
Maid of Honor
Katie is my twin sister; but also she is the best friend I could ever have. In most cases--twins are alike. In our case, we are so different it's not even funny. Katie is sassy, picky, organized, and a go-getter. She is one of the strongest women that I know. When Katie and I were little, we used to talk gibberish to each other and pretend like we were talking in our own language. Weird thing was, we could kind of understand each other... not because I knew what the fake words meant, but because we get each other more than anyone else could. She can tell what I'm thinking from just one look. Katie will always be there for me and love me no matter how unlovable I can be. I'm so excited for her to be my maid of honor--there's no one better for the job!
Matron of Honor
Hailey is my older sister who I've always wanted to be like. I used to steal clothes from her closet, use her make up, and try to act just like her. My favorite compliment was that I looked just like Hailey. She hasn't had the easiest life but that did not stop her from pursuing her dreams. If I could pick one word to describe Hailey it would be joyous. No matter how she really feels on the inside, she will always try her best to make others laugh and even make herself laugh. She can find a way to laugh in everything. Her favorite things are memes, Chipotle, and her dogs. She blessed the family with one amazing kid and now another one is on it's way! I'm so glad she get's to be a part of my wedding and help bring laughter and fun on a day that can be quite nerve-wracking.
Bridesmaid
Reagan is my cousin who is wise beyond her years. She has the biggest heart I've ever seen and a testimony worth listening to. Reagan was more like my best friend-cousin. Every chance we got, we would want to have sleep overs. We loved swimming in her pool, playing Barbies, and of course writing songs for our childhood band, Grits 3! Which was really just stolen tunes from other songs and different words. Family vacations to Florida were always the best part about growing up with her. Reagan is going off to Japan to be a full-time missionary for a few years! I am beyond proud of her and how she loves so deeply that she could sacrifice comfortability for people who are broken and hurting. She is an inspiration to me. I'm grateful she gets to be a part of my wedding before she leaves!
Bridesmaid
Kiersten will be my sister-in-law and I'm beyond excited for that! When I prayed for my future husband, I had always hoped that he'd have sisters so I would pray for his sisters too. When I first met Kiersten, I was a little intimidated because of how awesome she is! One characteristic that sticks out to me about Kiersten is that she has incredible integrity. I will listen to stories after stories of how Kiersten would stand up for someone who was being picked on. She has a huge heart for those who are often times forgotten about and that's such an admirable quality. Kiersten is so very strong and I'm just so grateful God put her in my life. I'm excited for her to be in the wedding and I'm even more excited for our relationship to grow stronger over the years as we become sisters!
Bridesmaid
Cameron Parr is easily the funniest person that I know. I truly believe that she could pursue a career as a British actress if she wanted to! She can talk in every accent there is. She once explained to me in detail what happens when we feel pain on our skin--the whole time...in a surfer dude accent. There's a lot to say about my dear friend Cam, but I'd say one characteristic that stands out the most is her hospitality. Not a lot of people have that now of days but no matter who you are, Cameron's doors are always open. I remember as roommates, she would make the best dinners and desserts and she always always ALWAYS made sure I had medicine and water when I was sick. I will forever be thankful for our friendship and how deep its gotten in such a short time!
Bridesmaid
Maddie and I have been best friends since eighth grade. I have so many memories of us doing silly things like putting crazy make up on and walking into CVS while people look at us like we're crazy, dressing in all black to go ding-dong-ditching our crushes, and laying out by the pool in the summer. We have seen the worst and the best of each other but through it all our friendship has stayed strong. She is truly like my sister. I know I can always come to her with anything and she'll always give me her honest opinion. We can go weeks, months even without talking and when we do, its as if we had spent no time apart at all. Our friendship has been long distance the past six years but she is coming to Texas to celebrate Shawn and I and I can't wait for her to stand by me on our big day!
Bridesmaid
Kenadee Schrock is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She is a gentle warrior; Someone who is delicate but also strong and ready to fight. I don't even remember how Ken and I met, we just one day became friends! I'm so glad we did because without her, Shawn and I would have never met. Ken is kind of like my glue stick. She has glued me to so many friendships, I don't think she realizes how important her friendship is to me and how it has brought me to where I am today. Kenadee wins at every board game, she can quote pretty much the whole Bible, and she's an extremely talented musician. Kenadee will most definitely be famous in her life time and will probably win a million dollars on a game show. Till then, she is one of my amazing bridesmaids and I'm so grateful for her.
Bridesmaid
Nina is the type of person who never meets a stranger, so it was honor that I got to be her roommate in college! We actually first met at church camp. We were sitting at the same table and found out we were going to live on the same hall! I remember we both had mascara streaks from crying during service. To this day, Nina is someone I go to if I ever need encouragement or someone to just pray with me. She has helped me get out of my shell, taught me tons of fashion tips, and also shares an obsession for Chick-fil-a. We have gone through some ups and downs together, but Nina always stayed faithful and on fire for the Lord and that's something that I admire about her. I recently got to stand beside Nina on her wedding day and now she gets to for mine & I couldn't be more thrilled about it!

The groom to be!
Best Man
Jakob has been my best friend since the summer of 8th grade. I wouldn’t trade our friendship for the world. Even though we are not related I don’t look at him as any less than a brother. We have shared mountain top moments together and have experienced the biggest heartaches of our lives together. Our brotherhood is unshakable and he will always remain my best friend right behind Natalie.
My Bro
Logan has taken place as the little brother I’ve never had. I introduce him as my little bro to everyone I meet. Logan and his mom are seen as literally life savers in my life and I can honestly say that I wouldn’t be here without them being in my life.
Groomsman
Chris Bourn has been a ‘God Send’ in my life. He is the friend that I prayed to have for years. He is forever a spiritual brother in my life and I’m a better person because of his friendship. Our stories are almost identical since we arrived at SAGU together. I literally don’t know where I’d be without him and most likely wouldn’t be getting married to Natalie if it wasn’t for our friendship!
Groomsman
When you breakdown Me and Josh’s friendship it’s incredibly entertaining! We first meet at North Texas Camp when I was a student and he was on Rec Crew. Our friendship truly started my second semester of College when he helped walk me through one of the toughest seasons of my life. He is one of the reasons I was able to stay at SAGU and start dating Natalie. I can always count on Josh to be in my corner, he is the biggest encourager I have ever meet and I’m forever thankful for his friendship!
Groomsman
When I first meet Chris I was intimidated and was 99% sure he hated me. But after a semester of fearing him he was quickly turned into one of the biggest role models I’ve ever had in my life. He motivated to be better in EVERY area of my life. Last Fall semester we started building a friendship through endless Gatorade drops for the Red Oak Football team as well as traveling to every single game no matter the distance or weather. It was those long car rides where our friendship was grown. I’m so much better of a Leader, Fiancèe, Student and Pastor because of his friendship. I look forward to keeping him in my life no matter where God takes us!
Groomsman
Tanner is the most exciting and fun friend I am blessed to have in my life! I first meet Tanner when I was a student at North Texas camp the summer before I started College. I remember a moment in one of the services that summer that he felt led to pray over and encourage me. It was incredibly needed and he stepped in at just the right time. We interned two years together in Oaks Youth and had a blast every second of it. Tanner was always there wether it was to make memories like throwing frozen cake through the third story of our dorm window or praying victory and peace over me when I was walking through one of the toughest weeks of my life one summer ago. I’m thankful for his consistent friendship in my life.
Groomsman
Everyday I’ve gotten to hang out with Ethan my day instantly got better. I’ve never heard Ethan ever complain and his sarcastic and dry humor always finds a way to make me laugh. I first meet Ethan on a OSL tour and I instantly wanted to join just so I could be his friend. I got to hang out with him for the majority of the day I was there and we instantly connected. Ethan was honestly my favorite person to hang out with my first semester at SAGU. I consistently third wheeled with him and his girlfriend Jocelyn every Wednesday during chapel hour. I third wheeled so much with him that I when me and Natalie became official he was one of the first people that HAD to know! Ethan has also taken the time to give more encouraging words from God than ANYONE else I’ve ever met.
