Both the ceremony and reception will be at Gordon Lodge in Baileys Harbor, WI. The ceremony starts at 4:00 PM and will be held outside on the lawn, so please dress accordingly and be mindful of the weather. Afterward, we’ll enjoy cocktail hour on the lawn, followed by dinner and dancing inside the lodge.
We’ll be sharing all lodging details soon! Our rates are already locked in and discounted, and we’ve reserved more than enough rooms and accommodations for everyone. Once everything is finalized and ready for you to book, we’ll update this page. In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to text us!
We’re keeping things casual and weather-appropriate - think summer vibes. Wear what makes you feel good! For the ceremony, we ask that folks wear pants and jacket. Ladies, a flowy summer dress is perfect. The main thing? Be ready to dance.
Yes! Gordon Lodge has plenty of parking available right on the property. You can keep your car overnight. Please remember - Door County has very limited ride share options, so if you plan to drink, assign a designated driver or alternative safe transportation in advance. Your safety is important to us!
Door County is beautiful but pretty spread out - and ride-sharing apps like Uber and Lyft can be hit or miss, especially in Baileys Harbor and Sisters Bay. That said, there are a few local cab and shuttle options available! We recommend booking in advance if you're planning to go off-property or out for the night. A couple of options to check out: Door County Cabs (920-559-3396) Egg Harbor Carriage Rides & Taxi (920-868-1111) Island Time Tours – great for groups If you’re staying on-site with us at Gordon Lodge, you likely won’t need much transport - but for anything else, a little planning ahead goes a long way!
We’re keeping things adults-only so everyone can unwind and enjoy the day as we planned. We really appreciate your understanding!
So much! Swim in the pool or the lake, paddle board or kayak, ride bikes around the trails, or shoot some hoops and play pickleball or tennis. You can also hit the fitness center, grab a drink with a view at the restaurant at Top Deck, or just chill by the fire pit.
We're hoping for a beautiful, sunny weekend! Late August in Door County typically brings nice summer weather - daytime highs around 75-80°F and cooler evenings near 60°F. Don’t forget your swimsuit if you’d like to take a dip in the pool or the lake during the weekend, and pack some comfy sweatshirts and layers for hanging by the fire pit. New to Gordon Lodge is a KILN floating sauna - a wood-fired sauna floating right on the bay!
Yes! Feel free to bring any alcohol or food you'd like to enjoy during your stay. Most cabins and rooms have mini-fridges to keep your items cool and fresh.
As much as we love your furry friends, dogs unfortunately aren’t allowed on-site at Gordon Lodge.
