Semi-formal to formal attire. Cocktail dresses, floor-length dresses and jumpsuits. A suit, dress pants with a dress shirt or blazer. Feel free to wear fall colors! Look however you need so that you can dance the night away! Note that the ground surrounding the venue is mostly crushed gravel, so rethink wearing stilettos.
Rain or shine - it is happening outside! October weather can be unpredictable and the ceremony will be held outdoors, so be prepared with a light sweater, rain jacket and umbrella to keep yourself warm and dry in case it rains. Lets keep our fingers crossed though!
It will be open bar - but please drink responsibly. We want our wedding to be a night that is fun for everyone!
We do not have a registry. Your presence is all that we need or want! What would be most meaningful to us is a thoughtfully written card and a personal memory that you can share in our guestbook. If you insist on getting us a gift, we love experiences, and would welcome cash for our honeymoon (TBD), or gift cards for a date night to a local brewery or cool tourist attraction anywhere in the Lower Mainland.
The reception will be buffet style. Please note any food restrictions/allergies you have in your RSVP and we will do our best to accommodate your request. The buffet and desserts will have many vegetarian and vegan options.
The venue is located off of Highway 1 and a forest service road. There is very limited parking on site, so we have booked a shuttle that will pick you up in downtown Hope. Everything is close by, but the exact pick-up location and time will be determined soon. Whether you have booked a room in Hope, or you will be driving home, all guests will need to take the shuttle. The shuttle will transport guests back to Hope until approximately 12:00am. This way, you won't need to navigate the dark roads, and we can ensure that you will get home safe!
Your invitation will specify how many people are invited in your party :)
Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair.
